Aunt of Susan (underwent fertility preservation for breast cancer)

I am not seeking a consultation because we already have five children in our thirty year marriage, so we are very blessed. I am actually writing to thank you for your availability and kindness to my niece. You came in early to consult with her this morning. I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for your sincere compassion and medical expertise; they are a wonderful gift. As her aunt, I prayed that she would have a way to pursue her dreams for children someday and that there would be a physician who would share her hopes and treat her like the precious individual she is and not just as a fertility case. I believe you are an answer to that prayer. I know what you do is a “profession” but it’s apparent that it is also an expression of true human kindness for you as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
